Dot project

 

Description: For this activity we read the book The dot and we discussed how just a simple dot can turn into art work. So we were given coffee filter, tin foil, oil pastels, crayons, markers and water. We were told that we could create whatever we wanted on the dot using different mediums, showing mixing of colors and experimenting with water colors. 

Extension Activity: An activity that could be used off of this is doing this for a hoilday, for example the student could all make Christmas ornaments that could be placed on the class Christmas trees, the student would work on collaboration.
